“Today, it is being damaged by revanscism

Economy expert Dardan Sejdiu has reacted to recent developments in terms of closing the milk cane “Vita”, as the state landed with over 20 inspectors. Among them are activists of the Vetevendosje Movement.
Sejdiu, recalling the time when Vetevendosje lobbied for local products, with the “campaign, love your own”, but according to him now in power, local production is being fought by revansism.
Total:
A few days ago, I was assigned to log into “Love Tent”, designed by Ismaili Ismaili, and the history of creating that campaign while we were part of the Vetevendosje Movement.
The battle for strengthening and supporting local production began in 2011. It wasn't just a logo or a conscious campaign. It was part of a larger vision: building local industry and creating public policies that give local producers the opportunity to grow, invest and compete.
Today, 15 years later, we are still discussing the same issue.
Then local production was challenged by an ideological, neoliberal approach. Today, it's being damaged by decisions that lead heavily to ravanism.
But one thing hasn't changed.
There is no sustainable development without production. There is no strong economy without industry. There are no well-paid jobs without local companies growing, exporting and investing.
Governments come and go. Politics change. But a country that doesn't protect and develop its own production, it's very hard to build a strong economy.
That was true in 2011. It's really today.
