Three persons arrested for smuggling, police details

Kosovo police have reported that three suspects who have been involved in two criminal cases of migrants have been arrested.
In the first case, yesterday in Rugova's area, police have detained a Kosovo male driver's vehicle, where 12 people have been found in the vehicle headed by the suspect, which after the verification, have resulted in being citizens of Sudan, who owned asylum-search documentation from Greece.
Police add that, the suspect was transporting people towards the border with Montenegro, and that at the decision of the suspect prosecutor B. K., the Kosovo male has been arrested and sent to the detention, while immigrants have been sent to the Centre for Emigrants in Magure.

Kosovo police, namely police officials from the Border Department during yesterday's 13 May 2026 day, have initiated two criminal cases of migrants.
In the first case, police officials from the border-Rahovec Police Station, at 13,05.2026 at 13:45 in Rugova area, have banned a Kosovo male leading vehicle, where 12 people have been found in the vehicle headed by the suspect who, after the verification, have resulted in being Sudan citizens who owned asylum-search documentation from Greece. The suspect was transporting people towards the border with Montenegro. By the prosecutor's decision, suspect B. K., the Kosovo male has been arrested and sent to the detention, while immigrants have been sent to the Centre for Emigrants in Magure.
The second case, taking place yesterday at 1:05.26, at 20:35, police officials from the patrol station for border oversight - eating Elez border, within the framework of the implementation of the operational plan "Migration of the Republic of Kosovo, in the vicinity of the border crossing was waiting for a vehicle to be transported inside the territory.
The patrol units have managed to stop the vehicle and arrest three Kosovo citizens and one citizen of Bangladesh.
By order of the prosecutor, against suspects with initial Q. C., P. L. and A. B., Kosovar males, the case has been initiated with migrants who, at the prosecutor's decision, have been sent to the hold for 48 hours, while victims from Bangladesh have been treated by the migration unit and sent to the Migrants' Home Centre in Vranidol. Also temporarily seized is a local license vehicle and four mobile phones.
