Pentagon begins publishing new files on UFOs

The Pentagon has begun publishing new files on UFOs, saying the public can draw their conclusions on"phenomene unidentified anomalies".
Besides the Pentagon, the effort is directed by the White House, the director of national intelligence, the Department of Energy, NASA and FBI", reports AP, broadcast Periscope..
The Pentagon said on Friday in a post to the X that while past administrations tried to discredit or decontact the American people, President Donald Trump"is focused on providing maximum transparency to the public, which may ultimately decide for itself the information contained in these"files. The Pentagon says additional documents will be published consistently.
Trump has been warning the announcement since February. He has previously published data related to the murders of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. who discovered a little beyond what was already known.
The Pentagon has been working on declassifying UFO documents for years, and Congress established an office in 2022 to declassify materials. His first 2024 report revealed hundreds of new UAP incidents, but found no evidence that the US government had ever confirmed an alien technology image.
Congress ordered the Pentagon to begin publishing decades of files on UFO images in 2022, after several army members shared meetings with unexplainable aircraft.
A small group of Republicans in Congress has requested further transparency, accusing the Pentagon of keeping the documents secret. A letter in March by representative Anna Paulina Luna requested 46 USAP videos identified by the accusers. In social media on Friday, Luna said these videos are expected to be published in a later Pentagon report.
Representative Tim Burchett thanked Trump for"the observance of his"on transparency and detection.
I would like to remind people that transparency will not happen all at once, it will take some time,"said Burchett in a statement.
Experts have sought caution about publishing new files, warning that UAP videos are often misinterpreted and wrongly characterised by those not familiar with advanced military technology. The 2024 Pentagon report rejected claims that the US government has recovered alien technology or confirmed proof of alien life. /Periscope
