Murdered a 37-year-old with a knife, suspect arrested police officers details the case

In the same case, another person has been injured, who, after treatment at the hospital emergency has been sent for further treatment at the Kosovo University Clinical Hospital Service. His condition is reported out of danger to life.

Police have arrested a 31-year-old person suspected of committing the murder, and the sharp tool allegedly committed has been seized. The victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Pristina.

With the prosecutor's decision, the suspects have been assigned a 48-hour police ban, while investigations into whiteening the case's circumstances continue.

By May 27, 2026, around 22:00, police in Mitrovica have admitted to the information that at the Regional Hospital of Mitrovica South is found a person injured by a sharp tool. The caregiver has confirmed that the male victim, aged 37, has lost his life as a result of injuries. The competent police units have emerged at the scene and have taken the necessary investigative actions in connection with the case.

Also injured in this case was another person with sharp tools from the same suspect, where after medical treatment, his health condition is out of danger for life.

At the order of the grave crimes prosecutor, the victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Pristina.

Police units have arrested the suspected person and also seized the sharp tool (the stomach), with which criminal acts are allegedly committed.
