Kosovo's Extract One Person in Northern Macedonia

Kosovo police have extradited to northern Macedonia a citizen of the latter, who was wanted by INTERPOL.
Kosovo's “Police, with its unit from the Directorate for International Police Co-operation in Co-ordination and Co-operation with the other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and the justice institutions, on the date 07.05.2026, have made the extradition of Macedonian citizens from Kosovo to Northern Macedonia”, the Police report said.
The “suspect was arrested by Kosovo police as the same was required through INTERPOL with international lettering issued by northern Macedonia's justice institutions for criminal work “Unauthorized possession, distribution and sale of narcotics substance”.
They said this process was realised based on laws in power, as well as the inter-institutional co-operation of both states.
Kosovo's “Police will continue with the exchange of information with local institutions, states and international organisations with the aim of preventing, investigating and uncovering criminal activities that connect with the investigation of perpetrators of criminal acts, as well as other activities in tracking, apprehending persons and criminal groups operating inside and outside the country”.
