Kosovo citizen extradited from Switzerland, sought international violation

It has been extradited from Switzerland to Kosovo by a Kosovo citizen who was asked by authorities for rape.
Kosovo police said the Directorate for International Police Co-operation in co-ordination and co-operation with other relevant Kosovo police units and justice institutions has made the extradition.
The “suspect had been arrested by Swiss authorities as the same was demanded through INTERPOL with international file paper issued by Kosovo's justice institutions, for criminal work “Dhunim” and that the same had been avoided justice. Extradition was realised based on laws in power and close co-operation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the Swiss”.
The suspect after the extradition has been handed over to the police unit from the competent region to proceed with other legal procedures.
Kosovo police said that through the Directorate for International Police Co-operation, “will continue with the exchange of information with local institutions, states and international organisations with the aim of preventing, investigating and uncovering criminal activities that connect with the investigation of the perpetrators, as well as other activities in tracking, arresting persons and criminal groups operating inside and outside the country”. / Periscope/
