US, Iran show 'sufficient will' to stop war, Turkish Foreign Minister says

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said he believes that both the US and Iran currently show"sufficient will to stop the war and achieve a sustainable solution, warning that the new escalation would harm regional stability and the global economy.
Speaking to Al Jazeera's Resul Serdar in an interview broadcast Tuesday, Fidan said Turkey's immediate priority is to ensure that the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran continues to be maintained.
Our most urgent concern is to see that the truce is being respected, that's what we're interested in at this moment", Fidan said, the foreign media wrote, records Telegrafi.

Fidan warned that renewed fighting could lead to broader instability and deepen concerns about the global economy and energy security.

Turkey's foreign minister also stressed the importance of restoring free navigation in the Hormuz Strait in pre-war conditions.
“We want to see a free passage of all vessels, just as happened before the war”, he said.
