“Feeling loss” IV's ex-Deputers react to Kurt's decision on diaspora tickets

Kosovo's government has made the decision to allocate 2m euros in subsidies to aviokopani, with the aim of facilitating travel and supporting air ties, especially for the diaspora.
This decision has prompted reactions and debate in public opinion, where some of the critics see it as a reasonable measure for facilitating circulation, while others call it politically motivated and unfair to other economic sectors that require state support.
Humoll: If LVV had the votes, it would not allocate 2m euros to the diaspora
Former Vetevendosje Movement President Fatmir Humolli has commented on the Kosovo government's decision to allocate 2m euros for subsidisation of aviation tickets to the diaspora, naming this as an effort for political benefits before the elections.
Humoll stated that the diaspora cannot be manipulated by political parties and that it sees the situation in Kosovo from a different perspective compared with citizens living in the country.
The diaspora is not of any party and can't be manipulated and even the diaspora sees from another angle how many of us here, but the way the Government is managing the money, I'm under the impression that citizens are feeling the risk of voting, and now they're trying in different ways to stimulate them in favour of party interest. This isn't random, and if the LVV votes as you're pretending they wouldn't do that”, Hummolli declared it. FrontOnline, broadcast Periscope.
Hakki Abazi: Kurt is trying to create a rift between diaspora and citizens
Former Self-Deputer of the Vetevendosje Movement, Hakki Abazi, for FrontOnline has reacted to the Kosovo Government's decision to allocate 2m euros to subsidise aviation tickets to the diaspora, accusing Prime Minister Albin Kurti of trying to create divisions between citizens in Kosovo and diaspora.
Aazi said this decision is not aimed at supporting the diaspora, but inciting tensions and political mobilisation through division.
I think Kurt's goal of dividing two million euros for aviation tickets is to deepen the rift, to rise against two million and then react to a new division between the diaspora and the people, and this is the method that is continuing to exorcise as Kurti's only form of promoting civic mobilization”, Abazi has declared.
According to him, the way social and financial topics are being addressed by the Government are being used for the creation of divisions in society, in the function of political interests.
Sahin: The government is violating economic rights with the subsidisation of aviokopani
Kosovo Business Alliance Chairman Agim Sahini has reacted sharply to FrontOnline's decision by the Government of Kosovo to allocate 2m euros for subsidising aviation tickets to the diaspora, naming it as unreasonable and harmful to the local economy.
Sahin said this decision constitutes a violation of economic and business rights, as according to him, foreign utility companies are being favoured, while local producers have been left without support even in the most difficult periods.
The Government's decision to allocate two million euros for aviokopanies, except it is unreasonable, is also a serious violation of economic and business rights, where it selects utility companies with producers. Last year alone, production companies have taken to the streets due to electricity growth, and the Government has not found it reasonable to subsidise local producers”, Sahin said.
He added that the decision has political background and raised doubts about the way these subsidies are divided.
“Today makes the decision that it is political and one day certainly the prosecution will deal with this issue, whether Kosovo needs to share various aviation companies with subsidies to stay on the Kosovo market. Kosovo has no aviation company. If he had it and backed it up, it would have been okay, but these are foreign companies, and it's known who benefits from these”, he said. /Periscope/
