Early elections: Today the period of accreditation for observers of political parties, media organisations

The Central Election Commission has continued with the implementation of the operational plan for organising early elections, scheduled for 7 June.

Under this plan, periods for accrediting observers of political subjects open today. In parallel, the process of accrediting observers from nongovernmental organisations and media representatives also begins.

That deadline will last until 30 May, offering a total of 26 days for application.

At the same time, all political parties registered in Kosovo are obliged to inform the CEC whether to participate in early parliamentary elections. Furthermore, by May 7th, political subjects must declare whether they aim to compete under any coalition.

Meanwhile, according to the CEC announcement, the election campaign is expected to begin on May 28th. The total cost of organising these elections is estimated to reach around 10.8m euros.
