AGK and some organizations express disappointment with the appointment of Rilend Grovall as W. D RTK1, 3 and 4

Kosovo Journalists Association has reacted after board RTK has named Riley Grovall as the director's task officer at RTK1, RTK2 and RTK3.
The AGK, along with Movement FOL, the Kosovo Institute for Justice and activist Kosari, have expressed disappointment at this appointment.
W. D Director, Zana Spahiu and Board RTK's, according to this response, would have to ensure that a person with uncontained integrity, apolitical integrity, and who would preserve and promote the independence of the Public Broadcasting.
Mr. Gervalla, a former activist and sponsor of Prime Minister Albin Kurti's political party Vetevendosje, does not guarantee these principles and standards necessary for RTK. Rather, during his mandate, the public broadcaster has been used to attack private media in Kosovo. No procedures have been initiated for these actions in RTK to hold responsible persons and accounts for false news against two portals, taken by a media called “Slobodna Bosna”, and transmitted to Central News at RTK.”, said in response.
It says in his leadership, RTK has become a mechanism that builds news and accounts in favour of Government and political party Vetevendosje.
AGK and other civil society organisations have expressed concern that at this time some emissions have left programming schemes without the board's approval, and some journalists have left the screen deliberately.
“Under the leadership of Mr. Gervalla and General Director U.D. Hysen Hundozi RTK has become a propaganding body of Government and Vetevendosje. Continued with Mr. Gervala in this important post provides signals that even the new Board, selected in a compromised procedure, has no interest in maintaining RTK independents and policy-indicted. Some international reports have been alarmed by political pressure on public broadcasters.”, AGK's reaction concludes.
