In an X post, O head Tedros Adhanom Ghebraesus has announced that a new case was reported in Spain.
“Spain reported a new case among passengers in quarantine, which brings the total number of cases to 13”, he said.
According to him, there have been no new deaths since May 2nd.
“Situate remains stable. Passengers who got sick are getting needed care, while others remain in quarantine”, he added.
In the last two weeks, all remaining passengers, crew members and medical staff landed from the luxury MV Hondius ship affected by the virus outbreak.
