According to him, eight settlements in Dnepropetrovsk and 4 in Zaporizhja have been returned under control. He warned that Russian troops are regrouping and aiming to expand territory, including the creation of a “tampon”.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces are holding defence lines, while President Volodymyr Zelensky said the situation at the front is the best since mid-year, reports Reuters.
