Trump wrote in a post in the Social Truth that any country found to supply Iran with weapons will submit to this table “immediately,” without “exemptions or reliefs. ”
The president wrote: “A country that supplies Iran with military weapons will immediately be taxed by 50% for every and every goods it sells in the United States, with immediate effect. There will be no exceptions or relief! ”
This came as Trump said the US would work closely “with Iranian authorities, following the ceasefire agreement declared Tuesday and what he called “a very productive change of regime. ”
Trump said in another post in the Social Truth that “would not have enriched uranium” and that many of the 15 points in US peace proposals have already agreed.
The US and Iran will also discuss tariffs and easing sanctions, Trump added.

Metalls are a key element of the current tariff regime, which sets a 50% fee for products made entirely or almost entirely from steel, aluminum, or copper. There is also a 25% fee for the derivative products that are “in considerable measure” produced by these metals.
By the end of July 2026, large companies will face a 100% fee for patented pharmaceutical products and their components. Smaller pharmaceutical companies will face this new tax rate by the end of September.
