Jeetu Munda (50) sought to withdraw the money of the late sister, Calra Munda (56), who had died two months earlier. The bank requested documents as the death certificate, but he could not secure them. Disillusioned and without knowledge of legal procedures, he exhumed her bones and brought them as “tested” of death.
Police intervened and clarified the situation, promising to help him take the money as his sole heir. The skeleton was redependent later, while local authorities and the bank are working to resolve the issue.
