Football fans all over the world have been looking forward to the start of the 16th World Cup round tonight, with a fellow Canadian organisation who lost to Morocco in Houston, and the next game to take place tonight, France v. Paraguay in Philadelphia.

FIFA had earlier announced that both matches would have honours for Independence Day, Telegrafi reports, broadcast Periscope.

In Houston, honours took the form of a large banner and a national anthem performance by leading American Navy musician Maia Rodriguez.
