Obama with a message for the 250th anniversary of US Independence: Democracy must be protected and constantly strengthened

Former United States President Barack Obama has conveyed a message on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of US Independence, where he praised the historic importance of the Declaration of Independence and called for the protection of democracy.
In his message, Obama points out that the idea of self-rule was a radical step in 1776, remembering that the American Revolution gave birth to the Declaration of Independence, which said that all humans have been created equal and enjoy certain rights.
