After the extraordinary session for president failed Monday, as the opposition did not participate and the same was called unconstitutional, Hasani said the same could not be counted and could not continue with the second round today.
The moment he saw that there were no 2/3 in the box, this round doesn't exist, so you can't go to the second round. Must start from the start, the [morning] session cannot be passed to the second round”, he said in Klan Kosova.
He added that the opposition's biggest mistake in this development would be sending the president's hearing to the Constitutional Court.
“The opposition makes the biggest error if it takes the issue to Constitutional. It is classical abuse in the most primitive way possible”, Hasani said.
Today, starting at 10:00, the Assembly will meet again on the president's case, while the VV has nominated two new names for presidential candidates, Feride Rushiti and Hatage Hoxha.
