She said it was the first time this court has faced so many of the detained persons. According to her, it has been an outstanding challenge for the large number of banned persons.
“As far as reported cases are concerned, by the voting rights chapter, has been a pronounced challenge because of the large number of banned persons, where 109 persons have been detained on a 48-hour basis, while 28 of them have submitted requests for the appointment of the detention measure”, she said.
The mayor announced that in co-operation with the Prosecution, four prosecutors and judges have been organised and appointed.
Considering that this number has been huge, in collaboration with the Prosecutor, we're organized and we've targeted the judges, the prosecution has targeted four prosecutors, we have targeted four judges and six professional associates who have worked 24 hours so that the process can go smoothly and there should be no impasse”, Emra said.
Emera stressed that this has been a challenge for them because they haven't had enough space and they don't know how to manage them in case the D.A. went down with 109 detained.
We were the first Court to start with these subjects. So I mean these voting cases and I believe it has been a challenge for us, because we have old places and enough spaces we don't have, even at first it was 109 to stop even if the prosecution had gone to 109, we don't know how we would've managed, 109, 109 lawyers, this court didn't have the capacity for management, but with 23 people we have four judges and six associates, and, of course, even with lawyers, even with insurance and all, it went off in a regular way, 1x> / Justice Trust
