Former President Sejdiu for Engel: Rare, repetitious personality, we always pray to his commitment

Sejdiu, through a post on the social Facebook network, has written that we always thank Engel's multi-pronged engagement.

Kosovo will feel your going forever in pain, but with the greatest thanks for the extraordinary deeds you gave to our country and our people”, Sejdiu wrote.

News of the death of longtime United States Congressman Elliot Engel is extremely painful.

Eliot Engel was and remained a rare and repetitious personality, devoted with all his energy to protecting Kosovo and its people.

I've met him many times. Always inconsistent, even when war threatened Kosovo, even when Kosovo became an independent and sovereign state, committed to recognising its independence and developing it as quickly as possible.

We always pray to his multilateral commitment.

And Kosovo shall sorrow thee for ever, but with the greatest thanks for the wondrous deeds which thou hast given unto our land and to our people.

Rest in peace, my friend.
