Jaka speaks after Switzerland's historic qualifications: As a captain, I had to take responsibility

The captain of the Swiss National, Granit Jaka, spoke after the historic qualifications at the quarterfinals of the World Cup, also revealing details from the current penalty moment in the Colombia win.
Jaka indicated that it was originally planned to be the third penalty shooter, but he asked the coach to take responsibility and shoot first, as is the captain's.
Actually, I was supposed to be the third penalty shooter. Then I told the coach that I wanted to be the first and take responsibility, as is the case with a captain. But I'm putting this aside for now", Jaka said.
The Albanian midfielder expressed extremely proud of the team, emphasising the mental strength Switzerland showed on the challenge.
I'm extremely proud of the team. It was an outstanding display of mental strength - the will won. We made history, it's an incredible feeling. Relief makes us extremely proud. We've been waiting for a long time to write a story like this", the captain of Switzerland added.
Jaka named this achievement the largest moment of Switzerland's current generation, believing this team could continue to write stories.
I think it's the crowning achievement of the current generation. We hope there's another; it's a special generation. We experienced players are being pushed by young people and we have to be models, broadcasting the mentality that even as a small nation, many things are possible", Jaka said.
As to the future confrontation against Argentina in the quarterfinals, Switzerland's captain sees it as a big reward for the team.
This is a big reward. Purpose number one has been achieved, but when you're in the quarterfinals, hunger is even greater than before. Now comes the big challenge with one of the biggest players", Jaka said.
Finally, he stressed that Switzerland will enjoy this moment, but it will be ready for the duel against Lionel Messes and Argentina.
We're enjoying the game, and we're going to be almost", Jaka said. /Telegraphy/
