(an hour ago)Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Besnik Tahiri has indicated that the possibility of Ramush Haradinaj being a candidate for president is no longer on the table, as, according to him, there has been no political support and consensus.
Tahiri said it had been an idea presented earlier, but political developments have made it no longer considered an alternative.
This was a position before the six-point proposal. Obviously, he has found no understanding and is not an option. No, it's not an option. It can't happen, it's no longer the option of the idea”, he said in Rubikon in Klan Kosova.
He added that Haradinaj's public position has also been clear, stressing that the AAK leader had not declared himself a candidate for president, but had only expressed readiness, which, according to Tahiri, already does not exist.
This is a public position. A politician, when giving a public position, in this case President Haradinaj, former prime minister twice, has had no reflection. I think Mr. Haradinaj was pretty clear. He didn't say I'm a candidate, I'm not self-producing, but there's a readiness. The readiness no longer exists, meaning this issue is already closed”, said MP Tahiri.
