Nine Parliament commissions gather on the agenda of multiple bills

In the Kosovo Assembly today, a series of parliamentary commission meetings will take place, with nine commissions set forth in total during the day.

Meetings start at 09:30 and will continue until evening.

The Commission for Health will open the day with the review of the final report on the Bill on Competent Health Care Insurance. Meanwhile, the Commission for Foreign Affairs and Diaspore will hold meeting with Austria's ambassador to Kosovo, Georg Schnetzer

In the security field, the Commission for Security and Defence Affairs will review the citizenship and explosive bills. In parallel, the Commission for Culture, Tourism and Sports will deal with several bills, including those related to the organisation of the Pristina Mediterranean Games 2030 and cultural heritage.

Another important development is expected at the Commission for Legislation, which will hold public hearings on the bill related to verification and seizure of unwarranted property.

During the day, the Environment Commission and the Education Commission will review bills related to water resources management, social residence and state senior exam. While the Commission for Economy will address temporary measures for basic products in the event of market destabilisation.

By 8:00 p.m., the Board Commission will continue meeting with a busy agenda, where a series of bills from a financial impact will be reviewed, including those for the waters, social residence, citizenship, payment services and health insurance.
