According to NBC News, citing a senior official close to Trump, the request came during a telephone conversation shortly after Netanyahu had publicly promised that the attacks on Lebanon would continue.
US Vice President JD Vance stated yesterday that Israel had agreed to “control its” actions regarding Lebanon to help negotiations with Iran, writes mysophytrael.
However, yesterday the Israeli largest bombing campaign in Lebanon since the start of the war with Iran saw any indication that Jerusalem had agreed to show restraint.
Israel and the United States have claimed that Lebanon is not covered by Iran's ceasefire, while Tehran and Pakistani mediators have insisted on otherwise, Telegraph reports, broadcast Periscope.
