IQMT closes 6 businesses and fines 6 more in action on cryptovalus and exchanges

The Central Market Supervisor Inspectorate (IQMT) has started today the action of inspections on businesses that exercise activity in the field of cryptovalus and exchanges.
Inspections have been conducted in the municipalities of Pristina, Gjilan, Gjakova, Prizren, Podujevo, Rahoveci and Suhareka, aimed at verifying the legal requirements for the exercise of this event, the report said.
“During the first day of the action, 16 businesses have been inspected, with the 6 subjects declared the detention measure due to the lack of mandatory documentation, mainly lack of consent for meeting minimum technical conditions, as well as for 6 other businesses, fines have been pronounced for lack of legal documentation”, the announcement follows.
“Under the operational plan, I The QMT will inspect over 268 businesses registered in the Agency for Registering Kosovo Business (ARBK), which have the codes for other monetary mediation”, it says further. /Periscope/
