Miftaraj for Albulen Haxhiu: Can't condition and impose the presence of deputies

Albulen Haxhiu, the head of the Kosovo Assembly through her scenario, is making efforts to honour artificial and unbased in the Constitutional Court's and Practice for electing the president.

Vocations based on party interests for a constitutional obligation by MPs to stay in the plenary session during the president's election procedure are void and groundless.

This is over and there is no constitutional basis. Any attempt to present the MP's absence as procedural violations affecting the validity of the process constitutes the unfounded interpretation of parliamentary competencies. This doesn't open in any circumstances the way Albilen Hadziu or LVV elects the president without 80 votes in the ballot box in the first and second round.

The procedure for electing the president should respect not only the text but also the spirit of the Constitution, as interpreted by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo. While the constitution envisions that in the third round, the president can be elected by a simple majority of 61 votes.

Any scenario intended to produce artificial quorums or to instrumentalise the opposition's absence to justify a simple majority choice in the first round violates the constitutional order for public interests in order for the case to go to the Constitutional Court and extend the date of elections according to LV's interests and when they see it as reasonable and when they think they can capitalise on the will of voters to vote for VVV.
