Killed ex-boyfriend's parents, Albanian left in prison for 30 years

The Court of Appeals has dropped the defence complaint over the sentence that Kalesha was found guilty of double murder, parents of former loved ones in Florence in 2015.

The decision was handed out Wednesday night, Italian media broadcast Clankosova.tv.

The prosecutor had also demanded that sentences handed down to the first and second degree be left to power.

Teuta and Passho Rescue disappeared in November 2015. Five years later, in December 2020, their broken remains were found in four suitcases thrown into a field between the Florence highway . Pisa à Livorno and the Sollicciano prison in Florence.

The 42-year-old had claimed that the murder had caused them not to tell their son, who had just been released from prison, that she had had had an abortion in October 2015, Italian media broadcast Klankosova.tv.

In February 2025, appeals judges in Italy, supporting the 30-year prison sentence handed down by the Randa Criminal Court, rejected the prosecution's request for life in prison, as well as the request for release from charges filed by women's defence lawyers.
