“The IDF is in a state of war; on the northern front we are not on ceasefire”, Eyal Zamir said of commanders south of Lebanon.
He also stopped in the situation with Iran, reports Skynews.
“With Iran we are in a state of ceasefire, but operations there can resume at any moment and at full intensity”, he said.
His statement comes after massive Israeli attacks Wednesday throughout Lebanon, where, according to Lebanese civil defence data, more than 300 people have been killed, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
These developments are increasing tensions before peace talks between the United States and Iran, to be held tomorrow in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, American President Donald Trump has announced he has talked with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and has asked him to reduce the intensity of the attacks on Hezbollah. /Periscope/
