Honored citizens,
Today we face a dangerous act for the future of our country. The effort to elect the president unilaterally and with flagrant violation of the constitution is an attack on the rule of law, which undermines our democratic order.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo rejects any political tendency to ignore constitutional procedures. We will not allow a political subject to exploit power to ignore the will of citizens and weaken the legitimate institutions of our country.
Such actions deprive citizens of the right to decide for their future and threaten to lead the country into political anarchy, which could destabilise our new country.
Kosovo is built on values of freedom, justice and equality and will not allow these values to be violated through abuse of power or violation of the Constitution.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo will always stand in defense of the Constitution, institutions and rule of law. We also urge citizens to be attentive and not to allow violations that harm the future of the country.
He cannot move forward by violating the Constitution and the laws. We will protect the country and its future!
