Democratic League of Kosovo MP Lutfi Haziri has said that in the second cycle of meetings between Albin Kurti and Lumir Abdijdzic on the president's case, it has been discussed for agreement between these two parties.
He said the first meeting has been constructive and that the talks will continue.
“z. Abdixhiku has after meetings with Vetevendosje Movement chairman, in the first case a consensus process has been discussed, and in the second case, an LDK-LVV agreement is being discussed. The first meeting has been in a constructive spirit even in the possibility that our role as LDK, as a parliamentary group approaching, confirms the invitation Kurti has made. The same invitation is said to be followed by the PDK and the new round of meetings will continue”, Haziri said.
Haziri has said that if agreement is reached, the LDK implements it, but he has said Kurti's insistence that an agreement with over 84 MPs is needed, indicating that MPs' distrust within the LVV Parliamentary Group.
There's a big problem here, not being a LDK deputy, but within the largest political group. There are deputies within the Vetevendosje Movement group that are expressing themselves against a process built with LDK”, Haziri has said.
He has indicated that an agreement for the president is late and that this should be reached in January.
If you ask me, we're late. The president's case could be defined in January. We are talking beyond the mandate where we have a task leader now and where there is political will has had to be carried out with political groups in January”, Haziri said.
