Fuel prices in Germany have already been significantly removed from last week's peak. This is when since the beginning of the war with Iran, fuel prices have followed only one direction: growth. But now they're down again. That's the ADAC conclusion.
After the rise in Wednesday's noon price, a litre of Super E10 cost, according to these data, an average of around 2.16 euros across the country. That means it was 1.6 cents less than at the same time the day before. Oil cost 2.31 euros per litre, even 4.7 cents less than 24 hours ago.
Average lower national price
Both before and after the single increase in one day, allowed at 12: 00 p.m., the average national price was lower than at the same hour the day before. At least oil has become cheaper at the average national daily award on Tuesday.
For analysis of the fuel price SWR comes to a similar conclusion. According to this, a litre of super gasoline (tip E5) costs an average of 2.14 euros in Germany. The average price of E10 is 2.08 euros per litre. In the case of oil, it is 2.25 euros.
The analysis is based on the prices of all registered fuel at approximately 1500 German gas stations at 1: 00 p.m.
Only a “first correction” of prices
In general, fuel prices have dropped significantly since their peak, reached around Easter, according to ADAC. And the automotive club considers this decline to be just a “first correction of fuel prices, which had recently increased by”.
Due to the confusion surrounding the conflict with Iran, this may only be a <x0-relaxation light on the fuel market, but we are far from the” alert situation, according to the ADAC's end. / DW
