Forbes publishes the list: Who are the five richest people in the world in 2026?

The latest ranking published by Forbes confirms once again that the technology sector follows to be the main source of wealth in the world. The list of billionaires for 2026 is dominated by the most popular names of Silicon Valley, with record figures highlighting the increased power of artificial intelligence, technology and spatial exploration. At the top of the list is Elon Musk, who holds the top position with a staggering $839 billion. Its success is closely linked to companies such as Tesla, SpaceX and investments in artificial intelligence through xAI, making it the most dominant figure in the global economy.
Second place is Larry Page by $257 billion. Google cofounder follows to benefit from Alphabet Inc growth. and strategic investments in advanced technology and AI.
After him comes Sergey Breen, with a fortune of $273 billion. It too remains one of the main beneficiaries of recent developments in artificial intelligence and Alphabet's performance in global markets.
The fourth place is Jeff Bezos, with 224 billion dollars. The Amazon founder continues to remain one of the most powerful figures in the economy, relying on e-commerce success and Blue Origin space projects.
Top 5 is completed by Mark Zuckerberg, with a fortune of $222 billion. The growth of platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, along with investments in metre and artificial intelligence, have restored it to global wealth elite.
