Estonian politician Rain Eppler has become one of the most widely commented on social media in recent days, not on any political development, but on his particular hair style, which many users have compared to ike images “Playmobil”. His picture has been widely distributed on various platforms, promoting numerous reactions that focus on the hair model, which stands out for the pure geometry lines and symmetry highlighted.
Rain Eppler, a member of Estonia's Conservative People's Party (EKRE), was born in 1977 in Tallinn. Prior to involvement in politics, he has built a career in the business sector, mainly in technology companies and consultations. In 2020, he held for a short period the post of Ministry of Environment and is currently deputy in the Estonian parliament.
The Humpistic Post That Raised Attention
Beyond his appearance, a recent Facebook post also attracted great interest. In it, the politician referred to a well-known box of chocolate from Kalev, humorily suggesting an alternative design for packing, in case an alternative version of adults were developed. Ironically, instead of the traditional figure in packing, he put his portrait a move that was met with numerous comments and creative reactions from users.
Comments were not lacking, and they often had moody tones. One user wrote: “thought it was an image created by artificial intelligence, but it's real”, while another inronized: “Why shouldn't it appear this way in the election?”
Others added battutes such as “if it's liquor, maybe even eyes should shine”, or “could be a particular marketing idea”.
Rain Eppler's case shows once again how unusual personal details and mood access can quickly become viral, turning attention away from politics to an easier and fun dimension on social networks.
