This important holiday for Catholic believers was accompanied by calls for spiritual reflection, love and reconciliation, as well as renewed hope among Albanian families. In his address, Bishop George called on political leaders instead of showing responsibility in exercising their duties, with the goal of maintaining stability and security.
He also prayed for the quickest stop of world wars and for the rule of peace and tranquillity.
We also invite the political authorities of our country to be more aware of the time we live in, but more responsible for the tasks and responsibilities to preserve stability and security so that all may have the ability, courage and skill for dialogue and respect the past as if the future should be built up... To remember (to pray for peace) world peace. May God's will be stopped from the noise and the sound of weapons so that calm could prevail”, Dode Gjergji stressed.
Easter is the most important festival of Christianity, which symbolizes Christ's resurrection and carries messages of hope, restoration, and new life. In Kosovo, this holiday is marked every year with solemn Mass and large participation of believers, reflecting its spiritual and social importance. / KP/
