Tragic: 7-year-old girl dies in Turkey's dentist chair

A medical intervention aimed at saving seven-year-old Ella from several visits and pains to the dentist ended in tragedy.
The little girl lost her life in the dentist's chair at the Davraz-Yaşam hospital in Isparta, southwest of Turkey.
According to reports, intervention under general anesthesia led to a fatal cardiac arrest, reports The Bild.
The child was presented at the private clinic on July 3rd, and according to the British newspaper The Sun, doctors planned to treat eight teeth during a single session.
To spare the girl the pain and stress of certain separate treatments, doctors decided that all dental interventions would be conducted simultaneously under general anesthesia.
However, unexpected complications occurred during the procedure.

The medical team's efforts to restore it were unsuccessful, and the 7-year-old passed away.
The case was investigated by the prosecution, which will verify whether all necessary examinations were conducted before the anesthesia.
The family attorney has questioned whether the tests for allergies and blood tests have been performed.
While Ella's parents, Serrap and Ali seek to know what anesthesia amounts have been administered to the girl and whether an an anesthesiist has been present throughout the entire intervention, as required by medical procedures.
The exact cause of death is expected to be determined after the autopsy.
Meanwhile, the private clinic in Isparta said “were respected all medical protocols”, naming the 7-year-old cardiac arrest an unpredictable complication.
