Heavy: A newborn baby in Berlin is found lifeless, 14-year-old mother arrested

A serious event has shocked the German capital, as a newborn baby was found lifeless in the Berlin district of Lichterfelde. In connection with the case, authorities have arrested a 14-year-old girl suspected of involvement in the event.
According to the Berlin Prosecutor, the minor has been detained after intensive investigations, while other details on the case's circumstances are expected to become public during the day, German media reports.
The event occurred on Wednesday morning, about 09:37, when emergency services were announced for the presence of a lifeless baby near a multistory palace on Reaumur Street in the Lichterfeld area. Passengers who saw the baby immediately announced the police and the ambulance.

The prosecution ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
