This trip of Kurt abroad comes at a time when there are only ten days left of the Constitutional Court deadline that has made it available for the election of the new president.
Kurti following the Constitutional decision, which had set the 34-day deadline, has only met with LDK chief Lumir Abdixhik, but after the meeting there has been no concrete development or mention of any specific name for the new president.
Both have argued that they should maintain the privacy of the discussions since the meeting has been “te-tete”, says Express, broadcast. Periscope.
Meanwhile, a meeting with PDK chief has not yet taken place since this party has been urging Kurti's seriousness and official invitation at the address of President Bedri Hamza. He's expected to see if Kurt will see Hamza after coming from London.
On the basis of the Constitutional Court's decision, the Kosovo Assembly has until 20 April for the election of the new president. If that doesn't happen, the country automatically goes to new elections and the Assembly is distributed.
Currently, the presidency institution is being headed by Chief Parliamentary Albulen Haxhiu as a task leader, as it has expired President Vjosa Osmani's mandate on April 4th. /Periscope
