He has announced that the bill has been prepared and completed with all relevant documentation, but could not proceed due to uncertainty about the possibility of distribution of the Assembly.
“We are awaiting further developments to act in line with the institutional situation. If the Assembly is not distributed, the bill will be prosecuted without delay, as we are convinced that our struggle for the freedom and values it represents deserve to be protected and institutionalised through law”, Rama wrote.
He has expressed gratitude for all MPs who have supported this important legislative initiative
