The paper cites three “officials familiar with intelligence”, who say the Kremlin's aid to Tehran since Saturday has included the whereabouts of American military assets, such as warships and aircraft.
“Looks like it's a highly inclusive” effort, said one of the Post sources.
Russia's level of aid to Iran is not fully clear, according to the report. But Washington Post sources seem convinced that Iranian Army itself's ability to locate American forces has been degraded in less than a week's start of war.
Pete Hegseth, US Defence Secretary, suggested earlier this week that Russia and China “were not actually a factor” in war.
Iranian regime is being printed
Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C. did not respond to a request for comment on the Washington Post article, the paper said.
Moscow has called for an end to the war, which it has described as unprotested “act of armed aggression”.
On the American side, the CIA and Pentagon also refused to comment on the Washington Post article.
But the White House issued a statement, with spokeswoman Anna Kelly saying: “Iranian regime is being completely printed”.
