According to Israel Defense Forces, the Command of the Interior Front announced that civilians in areas where the sirens were heard may leave the shelters, but must stay close to them because of the danger of other attacks.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities suggested that the army had launched a wide <x0 wave of attacks” against targets in Tehran and Beirut. According to reports, about 26 waves of bombings were carried out in the suburb of Dahieh in the Lebanese capital alone.
The Israeli Army declared that during the night Israel's Air Force, led by military intelligence, staged a series of large-scale attacks on Beirut against Hezbollah's infrastructure.
According to the IDF's statement, a command centre of Hezbollah's executive council was hit during the operation, as well as a structure in which there was a pilot-free fear (UAV) which Israel said was used to carry out attacks on the Israeli state. Tensions in the region remain high as the parties continue to exchange attacks and threats for further escalation of the conflict.
