European Parliament rapporteur Riho Terras has reacted following the failure of the session to elect the president to Kosovo.
In his X profile, he said recent developments in Kosovo are serious setbacks, and added that the country is facing a new political uncertainty.
Kosovo's “Convention failed to elect the president. This is a serious setback. Instead of stability, the country faces new political uncertainty. Really disappointing”, he said.
The president's election hearings failed Thursday because there was no quorum in the country.
As a result, President Vjosa Osmani, during a current media conference, said she was forced to issue a decree on the distribution of the Assembly, thus bringing the country to new elections.
