“German, Swiss and American soldiers from the Regional East Command (RC-E) of the NATO-led KFOR mission carried out training for medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) at Camp Bondsteel, including visa extraction procedures. Practical training tested accuracy, communication, and calm under simulating operating conditions. The exercise increased interoperability and readiness, ensuring that the units remain prepared to respond when” is called, the announcement says.
“Among these activities, KFOR personnel remain aware of the situation, reflecting KFOR's sustainable commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all people living in Kosovo. KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999 to contribute to a safe environment for all people living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responseors”, the announcement concludes.
