A major attack at one of Tehran's major trade airports was reported this morning.
A flame plane and huge clouds of smoke are visible at Iran's largest airport and main internal centre in views shared by eyewitnesses in social media. Satellite images taken Friday show that several planes were at the airport, BBC writes, broadcast the Express newspaper.
Iranian state media also reports that parts of the airport are targeted.
This comes after the Israeli army said it was launching a new “wave of large-scale attacks” in the country. Previously, she targeted the airport on March 4th, saying her attacks dismantled defence systems and intelligence that were a threat to the Israeli Air Force, which included the airport's helicopter production section.
It is not yet clear which parts of the airport have been bombed in the new attack, but witnesses say tonight's bombing has been much more intense.

Iran's semi-official Mehr news agency posted videos showing the damage in Tehran in the early hours of Saturday morning.
CNN said the Israeli Protection Forces have contacted the attack for comment.
“Israel has attacked and in a recent attack, it hits Western Tehran and Mehrabad field”, says a presentation on the video posted by Mehr. /Periscope
