The Health Workers Union of Kosovo's Clinical and University Centre has described it as unacceptable and institutional neglect not to pay the caretakers.
In a response, this trade union has indicated that the failure to pay for custody during the month of February has raised serious and reasonable concerns among health workers.
Since the state budget has already been approved for two months, according to the union, it is not clear that this delay will be reasoned with lack of funding.
Rather, the response follows, this situation clearly points to problems in the execution of the budget and a serious lack of institutional co-ordination.
“The host is a regular and planned duty to the health system, not an unforeseen expense. Failure to pay in time testifies to a clear institutional neglect to process lists, to administrative approvals or to transfer financial means. This failure cannot be reasoned otherwise except with inefficiency and responsibility from relevant structures.”, it says in response.
Unions have urgently called for accurate identification of the delay and the undertaking of concrete measures to eliminate it.
Honored Albin Kurti, such as the QKUK Health Workers Union, we seek immediate intervention and full accountability from responsible institutions. Budget approval is of no value if it is not applied in practice and in time to those holding the health system.” is now said in response.
