RTK without salaries, trade unions warn protests Monday

According to the union announcement, today is the 10th day public broadcaster workers are without regular salaries.

The RTK and SPARTK Union Federation have criticised RTK's Board and Management, accusing them of failing to manage the situation and repeat crises with workers' salaries.

There is no more room for promises or bureaucratic reasoning that endanger the well-being of hundreds of families. In addition to blocking the process, the RTK Union Federation and SPARTK on Monday will require full legal and moral accountability. These two RTK organs are playing normal, although the situation is by no means normal, this irresponsability is being repeated, although the law also obliges the Board and Management to ensure the normal functioning of RTK”.

“Bord and Management have shown total failure, operational inability and primary rights violations. We recall that this is not their first release; the same (Cord) and management are responsible for leaving workers without pay in the past few months. The repetition of these crises clearly shows that these officials are completely incapable of exercising this activity and leading the public broadcaster.
