(an hour ago)Aileollah Ali Khamenei of Iran has been buried in his hometown of Mashhad, northeast of the country, after several days of memorial and mortary ceremonies in Iran and Iraq, ending several days of mourning.
The final prayer was held in the temple courtyard of Imam Reza in Mashhad.
She was led by the eldest son of the late Ajothollah Seyid Mostafa Khamenei, reports Telegrafi, broadcast. Periscope.
Ali Khamenei was killed along with several members of his family on February 28th, the day the United States and Israel began fighting Iran.
Among the dead were the wife of the new leader, Aiothlah Seyed Moitaba Khamenei, the son-in-law of the late leader, his daughter and niece.
Khamene's son Mojataba took office as supreme leader, but he has not appeared in public since then, nor has he attended the mortuary ceremonies. /Periscope/
