Through a Facebook post, he stressed that the Vetevendosje Movement, according to him, has acted in full compliance with the Constitution throughout the procedure.
“Vetevendosje Movement respected the Constitution in full”, wrote Zulfaj.
He has stressed that the ruling party has taken all necessary constitutional actions to develop the process of electing the country's president.
According to him, two candidates have been nominated to enable the race for the president's post, while criticising opposition parties, stressing that they have not submitted any candidates.
Zulfaj has added that the session has been interrupted because of the lack of deputies, stressing that it will continue once their participation in the hall is secured.
“Sessance was interrupted for lack of deputies and will continue when they return to the hall, as they have constitutional obligation”, he stressed.
In his response, he has accused the opposition of boycotting institutional processes, citing similar situations from last year.
Last “Vit wasted time boycotting the election of the Speaker of the Parliament; now they are trying to do the same with the president's election. But the president must be elected”, Zulfaj wrote.
