Police arrest a suspect in last night's North murder, find weapons, drugs, and bullets in the house.

The police, after identifying the suspect's whereabouts, had gone to the same location, facing the suspected person. According to the announcement, the same man had tried to leave the police but was caught by the police.

Also, following police action, the location of one of the suspected persons has been identified. The police went to that location where they encountered the suspect and made his arrest. Suspect tried to escape, but was arrested. His arrest was made at the address of his family's residence in the northern town of Mitrovica”, police announcement reported.

During the search at his family's residence in northern Mitrovica, arms, drugs, bullets, T-shirts with Cyrillic inscriptions and a lot of dinars have been found.

The suspected man has been escorted to the police station, where in the presence of a defence attorney he has used his right to defend in silence. The man arrested, B.I. (2000), at the order of the state prosecutor has been sent to the hold for 48 hours.

Until two more people suspected as involved are on the run.

Police in Mitrovica North arrest one person for criminal work “attempted murder”, during the search are weapons and narcotics.

On the 06.03.26th, around 21:20 p.m., police in the north have accepted information from the Mitrovica Regional Hospital North that a person has been accepted for medical treatment with wounds caused by a sharp tool.

According to the report, the case occurred on “Andrin Dinan”. It is alleged that the event occurred after a verbal dispute over a rent. Then, under suspicion, three people have been taken out of a car with foreign license plates, first beat the victim, and then killed by one suspect with a sharp tool (suspected knife) four times on the left leg and one on the stomach, causing bodily injury.

Police, based on quick operational actions, have managed to identify the location of the vehicle used by the suspects, who was parked near the site of the event and the same was subsequently seized by police.

Also, the location of one of the suspected persons has been identified after police action. The police went to that location where they encountered the suspect and made his arrest. The suspect tried to escape, but was arrested. His arrest was made at the address of his family's residence in the northern town of Mitrovica.

During the search at the residence, police have also found the sharp instrument (the stomach) allegedly used in the case. Police have also found weapons and narcotics as follows:

• 34 rounds of .762 mm calibre

• a (1) 16 - foot [7.62 m] calibre clip

• a (1) 15 - bullet box of .62 mm calibre

• a (1) M-75 hand grenade

• a (1) bulletproof

• two (2) friends-bamba

• a (1) flame

• two (2) knives

• a (1) balance

• narcotic plants

• a (1) grinding mill

• nylon bags and foal bags

• a (1) suspected marijuana cigarette

• Cyrillic inscription cat

• as well as a sum of Serbia's state money.

At the scene, explosives treatment units have also emerged that have pulled explosives.

Two other people are allegedly involved, who are currently not found and on the run, but the police are working on their arrest.

All actions undertaken have been announced by the state prosecutor, who has ordered the initialisation of criminal acts against the person arrested for: “attempted murder”, “retaining ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”, as well as “Blerje, possession, distribution and unauthorized narcotics sales, psychotrotype and analog”
