“Nani 86 of the Constitution stipulates that the new president must be elected no later than 30 days before the actual president's deadline ends. My mandate ends April 4, 2026. This means that March 5th was the constitutional deadline for the Parliament to elect the new president, and that deadline was completed last night at midnight. It's not a political debate, but a clear constitutional fact. The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo has failed to fulfil one of the fundamental constitutional obligations”, Osmani said.
