It is also known that on the occasion of the Fiter Bajrami holiday on the first day of March 20, 2026, BIK's leadership, as traditionally organises inauguration receptions at headquarters from 9:00-12:00.
Kosovo mufti Naim Ternava congratulated Muslim believers Thursday on the eve of the Fiter Bajrami holiday.
In his long happy message, mufti Ternava stressed the spiritual and moral importance of the month of Ramadan, remembering that fasting and prayer help believers to clean up their hearts, strengthen their relationship with God, and cultivate solidarity with others.
He stressed that Fiter Bajrami is not only a celebration of joy but also a manifestation of the highest human and divine values, noting the importance of forgiveness, love and moral responsibility towards society.
The Bajrami holiday, he added, comes as an appeal for peace and consensus, especially at this time when the world is facing numerous conflicts and tensions.
May this feast be a source of joy, peace and hope for all of you and your families”, Ternava said in addition.
Fiter Bajrami's holiday follows the month of Ramadan, during which, according to Islamic faith, believers fast for 30 days, as a sacrifice and devotion to God. /Periscope
