Thursday on March 5th was the deadline when Kosovo's Assembly should start procedures for electing the head of state, as current president Vjosa Osmani expires his mandate on April 4th.
Osmani at today's media conference announced that today he will invite political party representatives for the election date. The “will be invited because, as you know, it is a must to consult in advance and it is necessary that immediately after the assembly's distribution to announce the new elections, or, in advance, a formal consultation with political parties is needed and immediately set the date”, Osmani said.
